This website is a forum for corpus-based contrastive research, where areas of interest include:
- corpus compilation
- annotation
- methodological issues
- software
- relevant publications
We hope that contrastivists will make use of the forum to discuss issues relevant to contrastive analysis, as well as to share not only ideas and knowledge, but also corpora and software. This activity will take place in the community portal (see menu to the left).
The idea for this forum was first launched at the workshop on corpus-based contrastive analysis, convened by Karin Aijmer (Gothenburg University) and Bengt Altenberg (Lund University), at the 33rd ICAME conference in Leuven, Belgium, 2012. This site is hosted by the University of Oslo, Norway.
