A new directory hierarchy is being set up, the new working directory will live under /xnilu_wrk/flex_wrk. See the notes below regarding paths and file locations.

- Wind Fields:**
/xnilu_wrk/flex_wrk/WIND_FIELDS/
- ECMWF: Wind fields from the ECMWF archive. There are top levels GLOBAL and NEST directories. Directories are further divided by type, then: YYYY/MM
- NCEP: Wind fields from the NCEP archive.

- Personal Working directories:**
/xnilu_wrk/flex_wrk/tla/
Tired of tla's? Three letter acronyms? Well, replace them with your initials, and you have a nice place to store all that model run output that's too much for your home!
- note: Keep in mind, if your putting run output in here, you might want to modify permissions so others can write (i.e. so that make footprints can create a footprint file in the directory).
