'''ABSTRACT:''' Businesses are increasingly falling victim to cyber attacks of various shapes and sizes. However, the challenge of collecting and storing relevant logs, detecting, containing and remediating breaches, is difficult to manage for most system- and network administrators. This talk will elaborate on how mnemonic helps businesses increase their network visibility and response capabilities, not only by passively sniffing the wire, but also by incorporating logs from existing systems within the enterprise.

'''ABSTRACT:''' The main idea behind the Secure Mobile Platform is a solution for secure communication between mobile units through centralized servers. This solution makes it possible for public bodies like the National Police to utilize existing commercial solutions for mobile communication in a secure manner. The Secure Mobile Platform is based on an Android platform that is modified according to the US National Security Agency’s (NSA) requirement specification for secure mobile communication, developed under NSA's Mobility Program. The Secure Mobile Platform extends an organization’s intranet to mobile devices in a secure way. The solution prevents eavesdropping, theft and tampering while providing ease-of-use and flexibility to end users, developers and administrators.

TITLE: End-point security with the Secure Mobile Platform

ABSTRACT: The main idea behind the Secure Mobile Platform is a solution for secure communication between mobile units through centralized servers.

SPEAKER BIO: Maria Selivanova is Senior Project Manager at Eyasys and responsible for the implementation of Secure Mobile Platform projects. Maria started her career as a Java-developer and gradually took on project management roles for major projects at Kongsberg Oil&Gas Technologies and for The National Police. She holds an MSc in IT and Communication Systems from the University of Oslo and a BSc in Space Technologies from Narvik University College.
