Welcome to the "learning from NFR proposal failures" Wiki !

What's the point of this?

There's nothing more annoying than getting a review back that's generally favourable, with high scores, and only minor details being criticized, and then not getting the money. I suspect that NFR tends to use few reviewers per proposal, and so this becomes more of a lottery, where a minor detail giving a minus point somewhere can easily make all the difference.

Hence, a checklist of general things that one shouldn't get wrong is probably useful. Please feel free to add things to this list!
