Siser ts base

Info

Siser ts base is a semi automatic heat press. It's primary function is to apply HTV (heat transfer vinyl) to clothing and other textiles. It may hovever be used for other applications such as melting beadwork.

Operational Safety

  1. Do not use the heat press unless you know how to use it. For instruction contact Sonen staff here.
  2. During closure, never place hands near the heating plate, to avoid crushing and burns.
  3. Do not touch the top plate during opperation.
  4. The heat press is never to be left unsupervised during operation.
  5. Do not move the cutting head while the machine is turned on.
  6. Do not move the machine during operation.
  7. Do not apply heat directly on the vinyl, use a sheet of baking paper.

Standard Operating Procedure

  1. Figure out the temperature and press time of your HTV.
  2. Set appropriate temperature by pressing the middle button. The Set and Temp indicators should light up. Adjust temperature shown on the display using the + and - button. Confirm desired temperature by pressing the middle button.
  3. Set appropriate time by pressing the middle button twice. The Set and Time indicators should light up. Adjust time shown on the display using the + and - button. Confirm desired time by pressing the middle button.
  4. Once the press has reached the desired temperature. Position the fabric on the lower plate.
    1. Optional: You may use the heat press to flatten the fabric by closing and opening the heatpress.
  5. Position the HTV.
  6. Cover the HTV with a sheet of baking paper.
  7. Compleatly close the press (apply pressure untill it latches).
  8. The timer will automatically count the set time and, when up, an acoustic signal is emited.
  9. Open the heating plate and remove your fabric. The timer automatically returns to the time set by the user. At this point the press is ready for subsequent transfers.
  10. Turn of the machine and tidy up after you.
