Agenda:
- Passaging
- Testing electrodes in the six-well plate with growth medium and shapes
Testing with a sinus-signal of 1 Hz frequency and an amplitude of 11.5 Vpp, 1st try:
- During testing, there was a layer of something (goop?) growing on the electrodes. Maybe caused by electrolysis (which we don’t want)?
- Time: about 1 min (short time)
- A picture (Bubbles_from_around_electrodes_after_stimulation.png) was taken of the ‘goop’ that grew on the eletrodes. This looked like bubbles, and might be a ‘mild’ electrolysis.
![Smaller_version_Bubbles_from_around_electrodes_after_stimulation.png](Smaller_version_Bubbles_from_around_electrodes_after_stimulation.png)
Testing with a sinus-signal of 1 Hz frequency and an amplitude of 11.5 Vpp, 2nd try:
- Did the same again, but filming it (with Sanders phone). Same result as the 1st try.
- Video:
Testing with a square-signal of 1 Hz frequency and an amplitude of 11.5 Vpp, 1st try:
- Short time again (~1 min)
- Same happened. Same result as 1st and 2nd try with the sinus-signal.
Comments:
- Wish: Get new electrodes of same material and thickness (that are fit for medical use/in Vitro)
