  • 1.7% gel powder, but it clumped together. Find a proper procedure!!
  • 37 degrees on microscope.
  • 25 um high patterns, posts look good
  • PDMS in plasma and assembled on friday, 3 days ago.
  • Blasted liquid in to the cell too quickly twice
  • In third pattern:
    • followed meniscus through tube to control flow to be very slow.
    • reduced to 5 mbar as flow started into pattern
    • liquid followed correct path for a long time
    • liquid broke through barrier when it had filled almost all the circle
  • Ideas
    • flow resistance becomes large with time
    • zero pressure at other outlets; put counter pressure there to make it unfavourable to escape?
    • make shorter channel to reduce flow resistance
