Planning event at VB with Realfagsbiblioteket and communications advisors

Advertising event

• Need to create a visual advertisement of the event - finish logo, tweak the title and write up a short paragraph explaining what LagLivLab is and what the event is about. Paragraph will be posted online on library's webpages as well as sent around faculties at MatNat to spread information about the event.

• Tengel will be meeting up with Linn to show her around the lab at Rikshospitalet to create content for social media. Hilde will meet Nigar and another member of the student team to show Hilde around electronics lab and the cell lab, also to create content for social media.

• Once the visual advertisement is ready, need to send out an invitation to Livsvitenskap, preferably with a link taking them to the main event on library's webpage. Library will advertise the event around VB and other faculties by sending out info about the event on the screens (TV-screens round and about).
• Might need one of the students to share QR-code with nettskjema for attendance during the event (for smittesporing)

Tasks to do

• Visual advertisement for library: deadline 01.09.21 12:00

• Need to create a timeline for the event: when are groups presenting, who is presenting, order of presentation and other details. Needed for library technicians to plan the event efficiently.

• Send out an email to studieavdelingen/studieadministrasjon to physics, biology, chemistry and medicine department and ask them to send out information to students about the event.

• Plan the beginning of the event - Linn proposed having a stand at VB around 12 when students are more of less free and can come by to ask questions about the event. Two or three students from the groups can stand on the first floor and advertise the event and give out coffee to students.
  • Bringing props (chips or anything else that we have been working out) to show off to students can be a good idea

• Contacting Realistforeningen about making waffles for the event - mention how the waffles should be served separately due to covid regulations.
