(98) RANGYFER: The rangyfer [reindeer] is an animal produced in the northern regions near the North Pole [polum arcthycum] as well as in parts of Norway and Sweden and in regions that have a greater latitude. (Bok 22.135 (Second Tract, 'On Quadrupeds);overs. fra vol. 2: s. 1533).  


The white falcon claims for itself the seventh genus of falcon. It comes from the North and the Atlantic ocean [Mare Occeanum], from the regions of Norway, Sweden, and Estonia, and the neighbouring forests and mountains. (Bok 23, kap. XI; overs. fra vol. 2: s. 1586)
