If you find yourself with any health concerns, you may discuss with Anthony. If these concerns extend to other group members, please feel free to approach Anthony in a private meeting. In certain cases, Anthony is mandated to report and cannot guarantee confidentiality. Anthony will make all attempts to send group members for appropriate professional assistance and to develop accommodations for that member for their health. This includes, but is not limited to maternity leave and accommodations for nursing mothers.

Sick leave

If you are feeling sick and potentially contagious, NCMM expects that you stay at home to avoid spreading germs.

Mental Health

Anthony recognizes that mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression, are prevalent in academia and life happens that may present other health problems. If you find yourself at immediate danger, including but not limited to self-harm, please seek emergency services. Some help could be provided through the UiO Occupational Health Service Unit. Group members are encouraged to seek a balance and self-care first approach to research.
