Celebration and common social events at NCMM
Summer party
The NCMM social committee will every year arrange a summer party for NCMM staff with families. Usually a common barbecue with outdoor games and fun activities.
Christmas party
The NCMM social committee will every year arrange a Christmas party for NCMM staff.
Celebration with cake and bubbly
At NCMM we celebrate grants, new publications, new babies and PhD thesis defenses with cake and bubbly. All are welcome to join in these celebrations.
Common meetings and retreats
Institute meetings
Appr. once per month the centre director calls a institute meeting, were new comers and relevant news for NCMM are presented to all.
Tuesday seminars
The Tuesday Seminar is given by PhD students and PostDocs from the Centre for Molecular Medicine Norway (NCMM), with the intention of creating a forum that promotes scientific interactions. Every now & then we invite more senior national or international speakers to give new impulses.
NCMM scientific retreats
Every year all scientific staff go together for a two day event, where everybody presents their research and we have social time together across the research groups.
