Setting up the flow control

- Used MUX Flow Switch Matrix 2/2 from Elveflow

- Device must have a USB connection to a PC and a 24V power supply to work

- When operating device, use the software labled ESI on the computer, not Elveflow, since ESI is the newest supported version from Elveflow.

- If the Flow Switch is not already detected by the computer, you can click on "Add instrument"

- Click on "MUX Flow Switch Matrix" and give it a funny name.

Making a sequence

Closing and opening the various valves manually is fun, but letting the computer do it for you is even more fun! That's what sequences are for.

- In ESI click on "Create Sequence", a new window should pop up.

- On the left-hand-side of the window you can see the various commands you can tell the software to execute. Search for the User Guide for ESI for more details on what the various steps do.

- In the centre window, you have an overview of the various steps you have added, and in what order.

- On the right-hand-side, you can edit any highlighted step you have added.

Syncing with pressure controller

- To easily control the flow you can connect the OB1 pressure controller to the computer at the same time as the MUX.

- You can control both devices at the same time.

- You can even make a sequence where both devices can be controlled. Refer to the user-guide the commands to be able to do this.
