Registration and procedure

To use the Socio-Cognitive lab you will need to register your project in this Nettskjema. Here you will be asked to specify what equipment you want to use, when you want to use it and for how long you want to use it. You will also be asked to list your project advisor. By giving us this information you will help us coordinate the lab's resources in an optimal way. As a MA-student, you will only need to fill in the form once, even though your project spans over two semesters.

The Socio-Cognitive lab offers funding for participant reimbursement and compensation, in the form of gift cards, books, gifts, vouchers, etc. If you want to apply for funding, we encourage you do so at the same time as registering your project, in the project registration Nettskjema. However, in case you are unsure about some relevant study details at this point, you can apply for participant reimbursement later by contacting the lab manager at franziko@uio.no. Be sure to include the following in your application: 1. Short project summary (including project members, study design, and deliverables), 2. Simple budget specifying the type of compensation (e.g. gift cards, books), number of participants, amount of compensation per participant, and total amount requested.
