Are you a new lab user?

If you are a new lab user, you have to follow a three-step process in order to use the lab.

1. Project application

To get access to the lab facilities, please apply by using the following form. The form will be read and evaluated by the lab manager and you will then be contacted to schedule an introduction and training meeting.

2. Introduction and training

At the one-on-one visit with the lab manager, you will get a tour of the lab, get familiarized with the lab’s routines and code of conduct, and learn how to handle the lab equipment you are interested in using for your research. To get an overview of the lab's rooms and equipment, see

After successful training, you will get permission to use the lab equipment independently, book lab rooms, and will get granted access to the lab rooms using your student, employee or guest card.

3. Booking of rooms The three testing rooms of the lab (Video studio, Eye-tracking room, EEG room) can be booked via the Outlook calendar system of the University of Oslo. You can find more information here: Booking rooms.
